What to Expect

FAQs

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Kingdom Church a great one!

In total, a Journey Church service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the worship team leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.

After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

Sundays at Journey Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

We desire to develop a community of believers throughout the city of Waxhaw that would fulfill their God-given call as they share faith with one another and become part of this great family.

Jesus Christ

 

Jesus Christ is at the center of everything. We believe that Jesus is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

The Trinity

 

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

The Bible

 

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

The Reconciliation

 

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and a fresh start with God, we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to His will for our lives.
